About me
After spending much of my life working as a professional musician, I understand first-hand the unique financial pressures and practical challenges that come with life in the music profession. From freelance work and multiple income streams to tax returns, expenses, and planning for the future, I know that musicians need advice from someone who truly understands their world.
Alongside a career of 25 years as a singer, teacher, and church musician - working with organisations including Wells Cathedral, the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, and leading professional choirs across the UK - I have developed a deep appreciation for the dedication, flexibility, and resilience required to build a career in music.
After qualifying as MAAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), I now combine professional accounting expertise with decades of real-life experience in the creative industry. My practice is built on offering clear, approachable, and personalised financial support to musicians, freelancers, and creative businesses - helping clients feel confident, organised, and free to focus on what they do best.
At the heart of my work is a simple aim: to provide trusted advice from someone who understands both the numbers and the profession behind them.
